Good ideas for reviewing books...Think about...
The Story
Original, interesting, credible?
What is it's theme?
Satisfactory ending?
The Style
Well written?
Good grammar and spelling?
The Cover
Is it bright and attractive?
Does it give you information about the book you are going to read?
Is the title 'catchy' and interesting?
Does the story 'blurb' encourage you to dip into the text?
The Characters
Who are they?
Are they well-described?
Can you see them in your imagination?
Do their personalities develop as the story grows?
Are they believable?
